Six copper strands laid side by side to form the band, each one faceted by hand so the flats sit at slightly different angles. The result is that light breaks across the piece in six separate lines rather than reflecting as one surface.
Both ends are bound with coiled copper wire and finished with rounded caps, which keeps the strands aligned and stops anything catching on a sleeve.
There is no clasp — it is an open cuff, shaped to the wrist by hand. Squeeze gently to close the fit, ease apart to loosen.
Solid copper throughout, not plated. The recesses between the strands darken first with wear, which deepens the effect rather than dulling it.
